October 3rd, 2012
The first feature on the track would be 50-laps for the 21-car Economy Print and Graphics / Chet’s Auto Service Sportsmen. Lining up on the pole would be 2005 Champion Tom Stone, who would battle it out in the early running with 2012 Dixie Motor Speedway Champion Don Riley, they would exchange the lead several times, with Riley eventually winning out. A Caution however would put Riley right next to 2012 Owosso Speedway Champion Chris Begg. It would be Begg with the advantage by the time lap nine rolled around. Billy Hagon would soon work his way up to challenge the Owosso, Michigan pilot. The two drivers would battle it out for the late portions of the race, but in the end it would be Chris Begg claiming his eleventh win of the 2012 season. Hagon was second with Vinnie Miller, Riley and Jim Severn finishing off the top five. Tom Stone won the Australian Pursuit, with Travis Skarvi winning the heat race. Hagon was fast qualifier with a 16.983.
