Elliott Gets Lucky Number Seven

The final feature of the evening would be the 20-lap Shiawassee Shores Pure Stocks feature. Alex Hagon would start on the pole, but it would be Andrew Burton and Pat Standley waging a battle in the early going. The two drivers would race side by side for several laps, before Standley was able to get a decided advantage. But it would be short lived, with Bob Elliott stepping in to take the top spot. Elliott would cruise for the final five laps en route to his seventh win of the season. Burton would be second with Standley, Ron Hart and Hagon completing the top five. Heat wins went to Ricky Moore and Hagon, while Elliott took fast qualifier honors with a 19.086.
