Rookie Miller Wins First Ever

The first feature of the evening would be the 25-lap Chet’s Auto Service / Economy Print and Graphics Sportsmen division. Andrew Clark would lead the field down to Jeremy Slayden’s green flag, but it would be 2006 Track Champion Mark Ragsdale leading the field the next time around. Ragsdale would lead until lap four when current Rookie Points leader Vinnie Miller took over the top spot. Miller and Dennis Roys would do battle around the 3/8s (.375) mile high banked oval. Miller would get a decided lead off of a restart, as Roys was forced to deal with Billy Hagon. In the end it would be Miller taking the win, his first ever feature win. Hagon was second with Tom Stone, Chris Begg and Roys rounding out the top five. Heat wins went to Justin Holloway and Travis Skarvi and Chris Begg would set the mark in qualifying with a 17.185.
