7-20-13 Twenty Three Outlaw Super Late Models qualified and then took to the track for the Great Lakes Helicopters 100 at Owosso Speedway. Harold Fair Jr was Fast Qualifier with a blistering time of 14.740. Drew Charlson and Eric Lee led the field to the green flag. Lee took the lead on the outside on lap #1 and then proceeded to lead until lap #13 when Charlson used slower cars and the bottom of the track to go into the lead. On lap #27 the first caution came out for Sam Coulter. Charlson remained the leader with Lee, Jeff Ganus, Tim Felver and Steve Needles running in the top 5. On lap #46 the second caution came out and the running order remained the same after the restart. Things started to change on lap #66 as Charlson started to lose the handle on his #21 machine. Lee went back into the lead with Jeff Ganus moving into second. On lap #72 the third caution waved and Eric Lee seemed to have the car to beat. Steve Needles made a charge up to third as Charlson continued to go backwards. Johnny Belott and Dan Krzywosinski started to get into the top 5 mix when the caution again waved on Lap # 86. Dakota Carlson was on the move the entire race and running at the sixth spot when he brought out the final caution on Lap #98. The final two lap shootout was a battle between the #5 cars as Eric Lee and Jeff Ganus went for the win. Eric Lee, from Macomb, Mi would prevail with Ganus running second, Felver finishing third, Krzywosinski finished fourth and Belott finished fifth. Fast Qualifier, Harold Fair Jr, left the track at two different times for a tire change and still brought home a sixth place finish. There were 6 cautions and the race took 47 minutes.
