Happy Birthday Sweet 16!

-17-13 – The Economy Print & Graphics/ Chet’s Auto Service Sportsman division had just 10 cars start the 30 Lap Feature Event. Fast Qualifier, Chris Begg started at the back of the field with birthday boy and point’s leader, Vinnie Miller just ahead of him. Blake Rowe and Don Riley put on a show for the first 15 laps with 2 Owosso Option restarts to liven things up even more! Rowe drove the bottom flawlessly as a pack of six cars diced for position all around him. Miller finally got around Riley on Lap #17 and then he was in hot pursuit of the leader Rowe. Behind the leaders the action was intense as Chris Begg, Kevin Cremonesi, Travis Skarvi and Brian Buswell raced hard. Vinnie Miller took the lead from Blake Rowe on Lap #27 and then went to the D & L Marketing Victory Lane to celebrate his win. Miller turned 16 years old the day before on August 16th and then proudly stood beside his # 16 car as the crowd sang Happy Birthday to him! Begg would make it to the 3rd spot, Cremonesi 4th and Don Riley would finish 5th. The Heat race wins went to Blake Rowe and Brian Buswell. Miller holds a 31 point lead over Rowe.
