September 7th Brings the Stars to Town!

The Jegs.com/CRA All Stars will be here Saturday September 7th and you will have the opportunity to meet and get to know the up and coming drivers on their way to the next racing level! Our local racing heroes will be here as well to meet the challenge of these young, rising stars! We will have an On Track Autograph session before the racers take the track for the 100 Lap “Big O Classic”. Owosso Speedway has proven to be the track that all of these racers have marked on their calendars and it is expected that there will be an abundance of non series regulars that will make this race! Expect a very busy Test and Tune on September 4th as many racers within a 4 hour travel distance will be here! The Grandstands are free on Wednesday Test and Tunes so you just may want to stop by to see who is getting ready for the Saturday, September 7th race!

Our Midwest Racing Scene Powder Puff champion will be crowned on September 7th and to change things up a little bit this year, we will present the Midwest Racing Scene Championship Trophy on the track after the race! Our Shiawassee Shores Pure Stocks and the Economy Print & Graphics/Chet’s Auto Service Sportsman will also be there to continue with their championship battles. Pat Standley has locked up his championship run in the Pure Stock class if he is able to start the feature event on September 7th! Vinnie Miller in the Sportsman division holds a 37 point lead over rookie contender, Blake Rowe. With 3 races left, the Championship Trophy is still up for grabs!

The pits will be packed with race cars ready to put on the best show that has been seen all year. Make sure that you are here and ready to go as well! The Gates will open at 12 Noon.
