 Without question, the fastest growing division at the Owosso Speedway is the up and coming Sport Stocks division. The Four and Six Cylinder machines provide some of the most exciting and action packed entertainment at the Big "O" and nothing will change in 2010 with an impressive 21 shows on the calendar with 20 of those events counting towards the 2010 Sport Stocks Track Championship within the Weekly Local Racing Series.
Perry, Michigan driver, Shaun Conner comes into the 2010 racing season as the defending track champion and in order to repeat, he'll have to deal with a host of up and coming rising stars, established teenagers with loads of talent, and a strong crop of freshman drivers hoping to impress during the upcoming campaign. Every win in this division during the year will be a hard fought and well earned triumph.
Here are the 21 scheduled events for the Sport Stocks in 2010;
May 1st, May 8th, May 15th, May 22nd, May 29th, June 5th, June 12th, June 19th, June 26th, July 3rd, July 10th, July 17th, July 24th, July 31st, August 14th, August 21st, August 28th, September 4th, the 2010 Season Championships on September 11th, and the non-points 15th annual Owosso Fall Nationals on September 24-26th.
