Mission Statement
Racing to win with the highest integrity, and to uphold high quality excellence representing the sponsor and team image.
Being true to the sportsmanship of racing, in the garage, in the pits and on the track, by racing with the highest respect to others.
History
Being long time auto racing fans, prior to taking up
the sport, we visited and enjoyed the local short
tracks many years. We also spent some time
hanging out with a friend (Troy Whyte) in the
racetrack pits at Owosso Speedway as he tried his
luck racing the 3/8 mile banked oval. In 2005 a new
race car class "pure stock" came to Owosso
Speedway. In the spring of 2005, Plan B racing was
born. Our large garage was transformed in a race
shop. A 1989 Chevrolet Caprice was found and with
help from my father in-law and racing friends, we built
our first race car. The car became nicknamed
“Underdog”. My first season with “Underdog” we
finished 2nd in points at Owosso Speedway. We
raced once at the Dixie Motor Speedway that year
and took a third place on that 1/3 mile pavement.
In 2006 “Underdog” and I raced every weekend,
surviving two wrecks, and avoiding many others.
Running as one of the top five cars in the pure stock
class at Owosso Speedway, we once again took 2nd
in points, for 2006 season.
In the fall of 2006 I partnered with Troy Whyte to
race in the Limited Late model class at Owosso
Speedway and Dixie Motor Speedway. In 2007 Troy
and I will be sharing the seat to enjoy the sport of
racing.
