Adam Rowe from Davison, MI is the jack of all trades, or the driver of all classes, when it comes to racing. Currently, he has been racing Street Stocks, Purestocks, Legends, and Late Models. Not to mention the fact that he used to also race Modifieds, Thunder Trucks, and Super Late Models. Adam started racing back in 1988, 34 years ago, and has been hooked ever since. He grew up watching his grandpa and uncle race and that's when he started racing motocross when he was only 5 years old. At 17, Adam decided it was time to get into the automotive side, and his racing career has taken off ever since. Growing up at race tracks and watching everyone get together and help whenever anyone needs it has always been his favorite part of any type of racing. "It's just a dysfunctional family," Adam said. I think anyone who has ever experienced the pit side of a race track can definitely agree with that statement. With Adam starting to race at such a young age, he has been able to make it to plenty of tracks to gain more drive time and experience. He said that he has won at least one feature at almost every single track in the state of Michigan. Some of his achievements include the Mudslinger Street Stock class feature win in 2009, he had the fast time at the New Years Bash in 2022, he won the ABC Shootout 4-5 years ago, he won the Harvest at Corrigan Oil Speedway in 2021, and he has won the Hotshoe Street Stock class in both 2012 and 2020. Even though he has won so many races within his career, he still has some losses. When he doesn't run the best race he knows he is capable of, the first thing he does is look at his notes to find out what went wrong. From there, it's just a matter of building the car back up and trying all over again. Out of all the tracks that Adam has been to, his favorite track is Anderson Speedway in Indiana. He said it's because "it's just a fast, quarter mile, high bank oval track." Emphasis on fast because speed is key for all race car drivers, right? Now, racing in Michigan only lasts about 5 months, so what does he do the rest of the year? Adam Rowe works for Niles Construction Services, doing industrial and commercial painting. However, in the end, he is still a driver. So, if he isn't at work or up north snowmobiling, you can find him working on the race cars to prepare for the next season. With that being said, he is already getting to work planning out next season. He is heading to South Carolina in January to try his luck down there with a different group of cars. Adam also plans on racing at Owosso Speedway next year to continue racing 3 and 4 wide on the brand new asphalt, and with the new management. He said that everyone can look forward to him getting into Late Model Sportsman's and racing more out of state CRA Street Stock races next year. His sponsors are going to be a huge help with all of that. He is sponsored by Twisted Graphics, Troyer Racing Engines, Whitney Insurance, Rhoads & Johnson, Delta Paving, and Sledge Heads of Frederic. Thanks go out to not only his sponsors, but also to his family and his crew. He appreciates those that come and watch him, like his mom and his nephew Gage and so many others, as well as those in his crew (his wife Renee Rowe, Andy and Nicole Shelters, Nate Rowe, Matt Troyer, Kevin Troyer, and Josh and Dierdre) that help get the car ready so that he can put on great shows for his fans.
