M-21 Grip N Grit Championship: Six-Race Mini Wedge Series Set for 2025
In an unprecedented move, M-21 Grip N Grit Championship, a brand-new six-race mini-series for Mini Wedge racers is coming this season to Owosso Speedway and Owosso Motorsports Park, giving young racers and families the chance to challenge themselves on two different surfaces to determine who is the most versatile driver on M-21!
This unique championship brings young racers together in both Junior and Senior divisions, with events split between the two premier tracks in Mid-Michigan. Highlighting the series are two special double-header Saturdays where families can spend the day immersed in racing—competing at Owosso Speedway in the morning and Owosso Motorsports Park in the evening—all without leaving the local area.
The M-21 Grip N Grit Championship is designed to showcase rising talent, build racing community, and deliver fun and affordable competition for Mini Wedge teams. Points will be tallied across all six races, and champions will be crowned in both Junior and Senior divisions at the conclusion of the series.
The Series will kick off at the Owosso Speedway on Saturday, May 17th. Rounds two and three will be on Saturday, June 14th at the Owosso Speedway in the morning and Owosso Motorsports Park for an evening race. Saturday July 19th will be a standalone event on the dirt of Owosso Motorsports Park, with one more double header closing the season on Saturday, August 23rd. Races will be run to the published Owosso Speedway rules.
